The West Hartford Democrats need you on Election Day!

West Hartford Connecticut DemocratsElection Day is only a few weeks away and we need every energetic volunteer we can get for the home stretch! If you want to volunteer for calling, canvassing, signs, poll standing and rides to polls, please reach out to us at  let us know what you can do . Be sure to join our Facebook page here too!

If you simply want to donate to the West Hartford DTC to support local and statewide candidates now and into the near future – here is our online donation form. Your support means the world – it really does.

Democrats and Unaffiliated voters far outpace the Republican party and their agenda in West Hartford, but that doesn’t mean we sit back on our hands. Our DTC is one of the most active, most energized groups in the State of Connecticut and we want to you to join up and be a part of the progress. The budget year coming up in Hartford could be disastrous if the Republicans win the State House or Senate. It could mean severe cuts in Education, radical changes in your Healthcare Insurance and even higher property taxes because of cuts in state aid to the towns.

The WHDTC fully support the entire Democratic ticket both locally with State Senator Beth Bye, State Representatives Joe Verrengia and Derek Slap and Jillian Gilchrest and statewide with Ned Lamont, Susan Bysiewicz, Denise Merrill, Kevin Lembo, Shawn Wooden and William Tong.

Remember that you can still register to vote til October 30th –

BUT if you want to Register to Vote on Election Day – you can do that too. West Hartford residents who are not registered can do so on Election Day via EDR (Election Day Registration) which is located in West Hartford’s Town Hall, Room 313. Residents may not register at any of the 9 polling locations, please keep that in mind!

Be a part of everything in the town of West Hartford and in the Greater Hartford region. The Democrats fight for what is right. We want to be the voice of those who can’t be heard and we want you to be a part of it all.

See you November 6th on Election Day!
