The West Hartford Democratic Town Committee (WHDTC) wanted to thank former Lieutenant Governor and State Party Chair Nancy Wyman for her service to the Democratic Party for the State of Connecticut.
Chairwoman Wyman will be stepping down on June 10 as the Democratic state chair, a position she took at the request of Gov. Ned Lamont after his election in 2018. She will swap jobs with Nancy DiNardo, a former state chair and current member of the Democratic National Committee.
A statement from the WHDTC Chair John Bailey, “We are so fortunate to have had Nancy Wyman as our State Chairwoman for the last 18 months. She has helped bring in a sense of optimism and organization and support that Democrats around the state welcomed with open arms. We thank her for her service and wish her well with the DNC. We look forward to working with Nancy DiNardio and her leadership at State Central. Democrats have a lot to do for the upcoming November elections. We welcome her with open arms.”
