The West Hartford Democrats are extraordinarily grateful to everyone who has participated in the Get Out the Vote bus/carpool trips to Pennsylvania. Local residents have been going door-to-door in a key battleground state, connecting with voters, sharing Vice President Harris' message, and encouraging them vote blue on November 5.
The Democratic National Committee's Phone Bank to Victory is ongoing through Election Day. This is your last chance to call voters in battleground states. Each phone bank starts with a 20-minute training session and tech support is provided throughout the duration of the phone bank. Click here for more information or to sign up.

Same-Day Voter Registration: This allows any qualified individual who is NOT already registered to vote in West Hartford to register and cast a ballot on the same day. Registration is offered at Town Hall, 50 South Main Street, Room 400.
If, on the day you go to vote, you are still registered at a previous address in town, you will need to go to the polling location associated with your current address. When you get there, you will be asked to fill out a new voter registration form and permitted to vote, pending approval by a poll worker and verification from your previous polling location that you have not already voted in that election.
If You See Something, Say Something: Every voter has the right to vote in a safe polling place without intimidation and suppression, and Connecticut has legal obligations and a moral responsibility to protect those rights. Anyone encountering problems on Election Day should report the issue to the polling place moderator, call the State of Connecticut's Election Day Hotline at 1-866-733-2463, or send an email to elections@ct.gov.
Don't Forget the Ballot Question: Voters will consider a proposed amendment to the Connecticut Constitution dealing with no-excuse absentee voting. If a majority of those voting on a proposed amendment approve it, the amendment becomes part of the state constitution. The ballot question reads as follows:
Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to allow each voter to vote by absentee ballot?
Please vote YES so that Connecticut can join other states that allows “no excuse” absentee ballot voting.
It all comes down to this, West Hartford. THANK YOU for helping us make our community a Democratic stronghold in Connecticut, for supporting our state and federal legislative delegations, and for your unprecedented enthusiasm for the Kamala Harris campaign.
