Essie Labrot, Town Clerk

As West Hartford’s Town Clerk since 2008, Essie offers the residents of West Hartford top notch, courteous and efficient services.  Although Town Clerk is an elected position, the job itself is Administrative, overseeing the activities of Land Records, Vital Records, Licenses and Permits, Absentee Ballots, and other processes vital to town government. Essie has lived in West Hartford for over 30 years and raised her three children here. She has been active in the community through volunteering in the schools and participating on boards and nonprofit organizations.
