DESPITE SNOW, POLLS WILL BE OPEN FOR SPECIAL ELECTIONS
The February 28 special election to fill three empty state representative seats across four Connecticut towns will go on as planned despite a snowy forecast.
At West Hartford’s Charter Oak Academy (425 Oakwood Avenue), voters in the 6th House District (Hartford/West Hartford) will be able to cast their vote for endorsed Democrat James (Jimmy) Sanchez or petitioning candidate Jason Diaz. This was the seat left vacant by Democrat Edwin Vargas, who stepped down before the new legislative session began last month.
The other races are in the 100th district (Middletown) and 148th district (Stamford).
Polls will be open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Please drive carefully!
