The West Hartford Democrats are a diverse and dedicated group of West Hartford residents who care deeply about their community and are willing to fight for a better, fairer, and brighter future for all. As such, we support the activities of the Democratic Party by endorsing candidates for elected office and volunteering our time and talents to help those candidates run successful campaigns.
Under Democratic leadership, the Town of West Hartford has become one of the most desirable places to live in the state and nation, boasting outstanding public schools, a transparent and effective local government, public safety, access to numerous amenities, and a strong economy. This progress didn’t occur by accident, but by thoughtfully balancing the need to keep West Hartford affordable with an increasing demand for services.

The West Hartford Democrats typically meet on the third Thursday of the month. In-person meetings will be held at West Hartford Town Hall in the Council chambers or in the Auditorium. Other meetings may be held virtually.
